Utilizing Flex Rooms in Chemical Storage

A Look Inside Rinchem’s Surprise, AZ Customizable Flex Room Storage Solutions

In chemical logistics, temperature control is not just a luxury. It often makes the difference between product integrity and expensive spoilage.

The Chemical Requirements

Not all chemical products are created equal. A few of the common variables different materials require:

  • Cold or warm storage to maintain stability
  • Changing temperature needs based on shelf life or productions stage
  • If it's hazardous materials or not (like flammables or corrosives)

Many hazardous and regulated materials require consistent maintenance of narrow temperature thresholds. This temperature focus prevents degradation, pressure build-up, or safety risks.

That’s why temperature flexibility storage capabilities at Rinchem's Surprise, Arizona facility matters more than ever.

Scalable Storage for Specialized Demands

We built our Surprise, AZ warehouse with 12 dedicated Flex Temp rooms. The rooms can maintain precise temperatures ranging from 50°F to 95°F. Traditional storage models have fixed-temps rooms as either cold, ambient, or warm. Rinchem's flex rooms can shift temperatures depending on the need.

This room adaptability makes them ideal for clients with:

  • Diverse product portfolios
  • Supply chains whose temperature needs change over time because of:
    • Seasonality
    • Formulation shifts
    • Regulatory updates

Robust Temperature Monitoring System

A temperature monitoring system monitors the flex rooms – we take an air temp and liquid temp, and we monitor it 24/7. We have a temperature buffer that will alert as a warning by text, email, and phone call.

Storage Flexibility with Chemical & Gas Specialists

Generalist 3PLs may offer basic temperature zoning in multi-use warehouses. However, those temperature zones are often shared, adapted, or managed reactively. In contrast, Rinchem’s flex rooms are purpose-built for packaged chemical materials. The flex rooms are backed by:

  • Rigorous SOPs
  • Regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal codes
  • Highly trained and certified hazmat professionals
  • Built-in containment and emergency response systems
  • Integrated transportation services to minimize exposure during transfers
  • Dedicated systems for tracking and monitoring

Our flex room capabilities show the special service Rinchem offers. We combine infrastructure, systems, and people to focus on one goal: safely storing materials that must not be compromised.

More Than Temperature Control: Purpose-Built for Hazmat Safety

The builders designed the Surprise flex rooms with special features that make them perfect for your dangerous goods. The rooms includes:

  • Chemical-resistant materials
  • Dedicated ventilation and spill containment systems
  • Real-time environmental monitoring and alert systems
  • Support for flammables, corrosives, and other regulated materials
  • Material segregation for compatibility and safety

Rinchem’s Surprise warehouse is specially designed for chemical and gas logistics. It offers precision, protection, and peace of mind that only a hazmat expert can provide.

Flexibility That Moves with Your Business

From pharmaceuticals to paints, semiconductors to specialty gases, industries are evolving and so are the storage demands they bring. With our flex rooms, Rinchem gives customers more than just space; we give them the ability to adapt.
