Rinchem complies with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Total Case Incident Rate (TCIR): Rinchem follows the OSHA standard 1904 when recording and reporting statistics on work-related injuries. The TCIR (Total Case Incident Rate) rate for 2023 was 2.24 compared to an industry average of 4.8. This demonstrates our commitment to prioritizing safety in all aspects of our operations.
ISO 9001:2015 Certified: Due to the dangerous nature of the materials Rinchem manages they comply with federal, state, and local laws and work with DHS, DOT, EPA, and OSHA. The Rinchem Quality Management System is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Investments in Safety Technology
To further strengthen the safety of our operations, Rinchem regularly invests in safety technology to implement advanced monitoring systems, enhance risk assessment capabilities and ensure practice measures that safeguard both our workforce and the surrounding environment. In 2023, Rinchem implemented two pieces of technology to further enhance our safety:
Samsara Dash Cams for Mobile Fleet
Samsara AI Dash Cams enable real-time incident detection, in-cab preventative coaching, coaching workflows, and worker safety scores. Implementation of OneTrack.AI
The OneTrack.AI technology is installed on forklifts in Rinchem's warehouses and uses machine learning and proprietary AI sensors to detect, record, and prevent risky behaviors and accidents. OneTrack.AI analytics tools provide visibility for leadership to identify trends, root causes, and process improvement opportunities.
In the first 6 months since implementation, the OneTrack.AI Solution has had a measurable impact on warehouse operations at Rinchem: overall safety events reduced by 93% including a 95% reduction in unauthorized phone use, 73% reduction in impacts, and 71% reduction in potentially unsafe behaviors such as fast turns. A key component of the OneTrack.AI Solution is the ability to coach on leading indicators to prevent unsafe behaviors before they turn into incidents.

Improving Safety and Compliance by Creating One-of-a-Kind Technology in Partnership with CAS
Rinchem, in partnership with CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society, developed a technology that revolutionizes the way we track, and report regulated materials. This technology improves data integrity, increased accuracy and efficiency while simultaneously improving compliance and safety. Every year, we are required to report and track certain chemicals to the state government, a process that can take months to determine if a chemical is reportable.
