Title: Cleanroom Technician

Keo Santhavisouk is a Cleanroom Technician at Rinchem’s Hollister, California site. During his 22 years with Rinchem, he has also worked as a receiver and driver, giving him experience with several parts of the operation.

Keo first found Rinchem through a newspaper ad. What began with that simple introduction became a long career with Rinchem built around learning cleanroom, understanding how it works, and helping fellow team members when needed. He is also a proud Army veteran, so he understands dedication to work and service.

Working for Rinchem

One of the things Keo enjoys most about working at Rinchem is the opportunity to travel and help other cleanrooms across the company. Sharing his experience allows him to support teams beyond his own site and learn how the work is handled in different locations.

Keo is especially proud of helping establish the COI cleanroom task force committee. By contributing to that effort, he helped create a way for cleanroom teams to share knowledge and strengthen their work together.

Lessons Learned

One of the biggest lessons Keo says he will carry with him is the importance of chemical knowledge and segregation. In his view, that knowledge matters not only at work, but also in everyday life. It is a practical reminder that understanding materials, respecting hazards, and handling them correctly has value far beyond one job.

Keo’s advice to someone starting in chemical logistics is equally grounded: we work around some of the most dangerous chemicals in the industry, so it is essential to know how to handle them safely.

That mindset is at the heart of cleanroom work. It is disciplined, safety-critical, and built on doing the fundamentals well every single day.
