Rinchem is proud to announce that Lorena Hutton, SVP, Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel, has been named the winner of the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2026 “In-House Rising Star” award.
Recognizing Leadership in Business Law
The Women in Business Law Americas Awards recognize leading women lawyers across the Americas, honoring legal practitioners who are making meaningful contributions within their organizations, practice areas, and the broader legal profession. Lorena was shortlisted earlier this year for the In-House Rising Star category and was officially announced as the winner on May 28, 2026.
“I am honored to be recognized by the Women in Business Law Americas Awards,” said Hutton. “This recognition is especially meaningful because of the work behind it, supporting a company that plays an important role in helping customers safely and responsibly manage complex supply chains. At Rinchem, legal and compliance are integral to the business and help shape how we grow, how we serve our customers, and how we take care of our people. I am grateful to be part of this work and to contribute alongside so many talented colleagues.”
Supporting a Complex, Highly Regulated Business
Lorena’s recognition reflects her growing impact as an in-house legal and business leader. In her role at Rinchem, she provides strategic oversight across legal, compliance, HR, administrative, and organizational functions, helping support the company’s continued growth in highly regulated chemical and gas logistics.
“Lorena brings a rare combination of legal expertise, business judgment, and steady leadership to Rinchem,” said Chris Easter, Rinchem and Dupre Logistics CEO. “Her work has had a meaningful impact across the organization, and this recognition is well deserved.”
As SVP, Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel, Lorena plays a key leadership role in supporting Rinchem’s operations, governance, risk management, and compliance strategy. Her work helps strengthen the internal infrastructure needed to support Rinchem’s global network and its commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Building on Recent Recognition
This award builds on several recent recognitions for Lorena’s leadership and impact. In 2024, she was named to Bloomberg Law’s national “They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40” list, which recognized her work in mergers and acquisitions. In 2025, she was also named one of Albuquerque Business First’s 40 Under 40 honorees, where she was highlighted for building Rinchem’s legal, compliance and corporate governance programs, as well as her contributions to mergers and acquisitions, real estate portfolio management, international divestments, ESG and DEIB initiatives.
Rinchem congratulates Lorena on this well-earned recognition and celebrates her continued leadership, dedication, and impact across the organization.
