To All Vendors and Third Parties Conducting Business on Rinchem Sites
One of Rinchem’s core values is “We will always demonstrate respect for ourselves, our community, and the environment.” In keeping with this core value, we wanted to make you aware of precautions that have been implemented at Rinchem sites to reduce the risk of introducing or spreading the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Rinchem continues to follow guidelines for international travel as published by the US Center for Disease Control and other regulatory bodies in their respective countries. We have enacted travel bans to countries, including transit through countries showing greater impact.
Rinchem is encouraging the use of video and web conferencing in lieu of site visits wherever practical. In instances where site visits are deemed necessary, they must be approved in advance by a Rinchem Director. To obtain such approval, please reach out to your Rinchem contact. Further, please be aware that Rinchem is requesting that any visitors to our sites fill out a visitor’s log that includes information regarding recent travel.
Temperature Screening and Other Precautions
As an added precaution, select Rinchem International sites have begun screening body temperature for employees and visitors entering the site. While not currently required in our US sites, Rinchem will continue to monitor the situation and may enact similar precautions in the future. We have also contacted our current janitorial vendors and asked them for an increased cleaning schedule and to focus on high touch areas.
While we understand that our customers and suppliers will apply their own policies, we expect others to follow precautions similar to those we are enacting. As always in matters of safety, visitors or suppliers may be denied entry at Rinchem’s sole discretion.
We appreciate your understanding as we all work together to protect our global community.
